What is the Nipun Bharat Mission?
NIPUN Bharat stands for National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy. Launched on July 5th, this program focuses on providing children from primary school to third grade with basic language and mathematical proficiency. This program aims to ensure that every child can read, understand, write, and use numbers without any difficulty. The government aims to ensure that children are proficient in basic learning by Grade 3, ensuring they have no barriers to further education. This mission is being implemented in both government and private schools.
Main Objective of the NIPUN Bharat Mission

Objectives for Children’s Progress
Under the scheme, children are provided with projects, assignments, and activity-based learning. Regular meetings and monitoring are held in schools. Complete information on children’s progress is sent to parents via email and WhatsApp. Its objective is that children can acquire knowledge not only from books but also through practical learning.
