EPFO Update – A special scheme has been launched by the EPFO to provide comprehensive benefits to PF employees. The Central Government has launched the Employee Enrollment Scheme. This scheme was implemented without delay from November 1, 2025. The scheme aims to integrate employees into the PF system who have been excluded for some reason.
It also aims to encourage companies and other employers to voluntarily declare and enrol eligible employees. Labour and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya shared important information while launching the scheme. He stated that the EPFO has made a significant contribution to expanding the scope of social security across the country.

He said that this scheme is not just a fund but also a symbol of trust in the social security of Indian workers and labourers. This scheme was launched on November 1, 2025.
Companies will have to enrol employees in the scheme themselves. The scheme is for employees who joined a company between January 1, 2017, and October 31, 2025, but have not been included in the PF scheme.
In any case, this scheme will also apply to companies or institutions that are under investigation under Section 7A of the EPF Act, Section 26B of the Scheme, or Section 8 of the Pension Scheme. The EPFO has already clarified that employees who have previously left the company will be considered eligible.
The scheme will be beneficial
This scheme of the Central Government will be beneficial for PF employees. The Union Minister said, “EPFO will continue to strengthen citizens’ trust by ensuring fairness, speed, and sensitivity in service delivery.”
He also called for setting global standards in social security while moving towards a developed India 2047. Meanwhile, Union Minister Mandaviya posted on X and wrote, ‘Under the leadership of PM Modi, EPFO has significantly expanded the scope of social security in the country.
