We all know that Aadhaar card is a very important document. Now UIDAI is going to bring a new update or change to that Aadhaar card. Aadhaar card will no longer contain personal information including name and address. We all know – from school, college admission to bank account number, PAN card or to make a passport, we need our Aadhaar card. Now UIDAI is going to change that Aadhaar card.

There will be a huge difference between the Aadhaar card we currently have and the new Aadhaar card. Now Aadhaar card contains various information like name, address, date of birth, photo of the Aadhaar holder. But the new Aadhaar card will not contain important information like name, address. However, the new Aadhaar card will have a photo and a unique QR code, which when scanned will reveal all the information of Aadhaar. As a result, online fraud will be easily prevented, the Aadhaar authorities have said.

If everything goes well, the new Aadhaar card can be launched from next December. The new Aadhaar card will not have name and address! There will be only a photo and a special unique QR code. And by scanning that QR code, all the information in the citizen’s Aadhaar will come out. And for this, UIDAI is bringing a new app, the scan can be done from that new app. On the other hand, the Aadhaar authority is bringing this new app instead of the old mAadhaar app.

Hotels, events or private organizations store a Xerox copy of the Aadhaar card as proof of identity. And from that, various incidents like theft of citizens’ information happen. From now on, the new Aadhaar card will have a security zone, where the Aadhaar card was used can be found in the new app. If everything goes well, citizens are going to get the new Aadhaar card next month.
