Gas Agency Dealer Complaint: Long ago, people used to cook on earthen stoves. However, with changing times, people have begun using LPG cylinders. Gas cylinders have now become a necessity. However, problems arise when dealers or delivery vendors act arbitrarily. Gas dealers take advantage of people’s needs. They arbitrarily charge an extra delivery charge of 20 to 50 rupees, or they neglect to deliver cylinders on time. This causes significant inconvenience to consumers.

What should gas consumers do?

People often face problems. In such situations, the question arises as to where and how to complain. Let’s explore the correct methods in this article. Companies have established a simple complaint and resolution system for LPG consumers. If a dealer or vendor engages in unfair treatment or misconduct, a complaint can be filed within minutes.

If a gas dealer overcharges, you must first visit the company’s official portal. For example, if your connection is with Indane, you must file a complaint directly on the Indian Oil Grievance Portal. You can select categories such as refill supply, cylinder quality, overcharging, service delays, etc. After selecting a category on the portal, your complaint will be forwarded to the department.

The consumer can then personally monitor the action taken on the complaint, which officer the information has reached, and how long the resolution will take. To file a complaint, you must enter your LPG ID, registered mobile number, or consumer ID.

After filing a complaint, you must specify the time period for which the overcharge occurred, which vendor misbehaved, or the cylinder was delayed. Upon filing a complaint, you receive a reference number. This allows you to track the status of the complaint at your convenience.
