Validity of e-Voter ID
The e-copy of your voter ID card is valid everywhere. You can also vote with it. If needed, you can take a printout and submit it where an identity card is required. There is no charge for downloading it.
How to Download Voter ID from the Website
- First, go to https://www.nvsp.in
- Click on the option e-EPIC Download
- Enter your username and password. If you don’t have an account, click on Register and create one
- After login, choose EPIC number
- Enter your EPIC number, select your state, and search
- Your details (name, relative’s name, state, mobile number) will appear
- If correct, click on Send OTP and verify
- Enter the captcha and download your e-voter ID
How to Download Voter ID on Mobile
- Download the Voter Helpline App on your phone
- Register your account using your mobile number and verify with OTP
- Go to the option EPIC Download
- You can download the card using EPIC number or other details (name, address, date of birth)
- Enter your EPIC number, request OTP, and verify
- After verification, your e-voter ID will be downloaded
Important Point
If you don’t have your EPIC number, use the Voter Helpline app because it allows download with other details. Also, your mobile number must be linked with your voter ID. Without it, you cannot verify OTP and cannot download the e-copy.
