Indian Railways Rules – If you’re travelling by train, it’s important to be aware of the new rules. Indian Railways has taken significant steps to improve passenger amenities. In particular, Indian Railways has focused on making train travel comfortable for senior citizens, pregnant women, visually impaired passengers, and the disabled.

In addition, Indian Railways has introduced several new facilities. If, for some reason, you are a senior citizen, a woman over 45, or a pregnant woman, and you didn’t select a lower berth when booking your ticket, you will automatically receive a lower berth based on availability. This is a significant relief for those who have difficulty climbing stairs.
