Maiya Samman Yojana: There’s a new update on the Jharkhand government’s ambitious Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, and it’s great news for women! Ranchi DC Manjunath Bhajantri announced that once the verification process wraps up, funds will start flowing into the accounts of eligible women.
He emphasized that only those women who meet the criteria will receive the money, and anyone with incorrect information will be excluded. Bhajantri also pointed out that the entire district administration is responsible for making sure the scheme is effectively implemented on the ground, and it’s important to spread positive feedback among the beneficiaries.
The district administration team needs to make sure that those who haven’t received the Samman Rashi are informed that all eligible beneficiaries will benefit from the scheme after verification. This was highlighted by District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.
During an unannounced visit to check on the verification process for the Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana in the Hatma Bhatta sub-tola of Ward-02, he urged Anganwadi workers to prioritize verifying beneficiaries. He instructed them to ensure that verification forms are distributed smoothly in both rural and urban areas.
Money still hasn’t shown up in the accounts of many women in the Bagodar block. This time, a significant number of women haven’t received their payments from the Jharkhand government’s Maiya Samman Yojana. In Bagodar, thousands of women are still waiting for their funds, leaving them quite frustrated as they frequently visit the block office and banks.
Around 36,000 women in Bagodar are supposed to benefit from the Maiya Samman Yojana, but 8,305 women from various villages haven’t received the promised Rs 7,500. Additionally, 186 beneficiaries have been removed from the program, adding to the disappointment.
It’s reported that those women whose bank accounts are linked to the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system have received their payments and are feeling relieved. Meanwhile, the women who haven’t received their money are busy trying to fix their forms, leading to large crowds at the block office, banks, and Pragya Kendras.
Many women expressed their frustration over not receiving their funds this time around. They’ve been running around trying to find answers, but there’s been no clear explanation for the delay. So far, only Rs 1,000 has been disbursed in January under the Mainiya Samman Yojana, and the lack of further payments has left them feeling upset after making trips from the Panchayat office to the block headquarters.
