A very important update has come out regarding the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana for millions of women in Maharashtra. If you haven’t yet completed your eKYC process, be careful immediately, as without it, your name could be removed from the beneficiary list. The government has set the deadline for completing eKYC as December 31, 2025.

While there are talks that this deadline may be extended due to the upcoming municipal elections, experts advise against waiting for the deadline. Know how you can complete eKYC from your mobile phone at home and when the pending November-December installments will be credited to your account.

The Maharashtra Women and Child Development Department has launched a re-verification campaign for 24 million registered women to prevent fraud. According to current data, more than 40 lakh women still haven’t completed their eKYC process.

District-wise reviews are ongoing at the administrative level. Officials believe that if a large number of eligible women miss this technical process, the government will have to consider extending the deadline. But remember, any delay could hinder your next installment, so completing this crucial process today would be the wisest decision.

When will the November and December installments arrive

The month of December is now in its final stages, and beneficiary women are eagerly awaiting their November and December installments. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis recently clarified that the payments were delayed due to technical reasons and the re-verification process. The relief is that the money for both months, totaling ₹3,000, will now be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts simultaneously.

It is expected that this amount will be transferred directly to your bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in the last week of December (between December 25th and 31st). For this, it is mandatory to have your bank account linked to Aadhaar and have completed eKYC.
