So far, no deadline has been set by the Indian government and the petroleum companies. However, according to several gas dealers, you will have to upload your biometric information by December 31, 2023. And this is why there are currently long queues at gas offices.

However, this time, the gas companies have taken a big step to eliminate this harassment. It is learned that Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum have launched mobile apps to upload biometric information. Through these mobile apps, customers will be able to upload biometric information for free from home.

How to upload biometric information for free from home

To upload biometric information for free from home, you need to download the specific mobile app of your gas company. In case of Indian Oil, you need to download the “IndianOil One” app. Similarly, Bharat Petroleum customers need to download the “HelloBPCL” app and Hindustan Petroleum customers need to download the “HPPay” app.

After downloading the specific mobile app of your gas company, you need to download the “AadhaarFaceRd” app. Then you need to upload your biometric information by going to the “ReKYC” option provided in the specific mobile app of your gas company.

In this method, you can easily verify the biometric information of your gas connection from home. Please note that if you do not upload the biometric information within the specified time, your gas subsidy may be stopped. This will especially affect the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana.
