Now you will get a duplicate PAN card at home

Earlier, one had to wait for a long time and visit offices to get a duplicate PAN card. However, technology has now made this process very easy. You can download a duplicate PAN card or e-PAN instantly from your mobile or laptop, sitting at home. For this, the government has provided authorized websites like NSDL and UTIITSL.

How to download a duplicate PAN card from NSDL

Go to the official website of NSDL and choose the option of re-printing the PAN card. There, you will have to fill in details like your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and date of birth. After this, you have to enter the captcha code and submit it. OTP will come to the registered mobile number, after entering which, the verification will be completed. A fee of Rs 50 to Rs 100 is charged for this, which can be paid through UPI, debit card, or net banking. As soon as the payment is completed, e-PAN is sent to your email, which can be downloaded in PDF format anytime.

How to download a duplicate PAN card from UTIITSL

Go to the website of UTIITSL and choose the option of reprinting the PAN card in the PAN card services. Here, also PAN number, Aadhaar number, and date of birth have to be filled. After receiving the OTP on the mobile, verification is done, and then payment has to be made. After depositing the fee, you can download e-PAN immediately. Apart from this, a physical PAN card is also sent to your address through speed post, which may take 7 to 15 days to reach.

It is mandatory to have some important documents and information to get a duplicate PAN card. It should have an Aadhaar card (which should be linked to PAN), PAN number, date of birth, registered mobile number, and debit card, credit card, or UPI facility for payment.

Fees for a duplicate PAN card

If you want to get only e-PAN, then a fee of Rs 50 (including GST) has to be paid for it. E-PAN is sent directly to your email. On the other hand, if you want to order a physical PAN card (hard copy like PVC card), then you will have to pay Rs 101 (including GST and postage). This card is delivered to your home through speed post.
