TVS New Electric Scooter: TVS Motors, presently India’s number one electric two-wheeler brand, is getting ready to introduce a brand new surprise to Indian consumers. The organization has formally announced that it will introduce a fresh electric scooter in India on 28 August 2025. Before its launch, TVS has out an advertisement called “Get ready for an electrifying ride”, making it very obvious that the model getting launched in the near future will indeed be an electric scooter.
Leaked Design Sketch
Earlier this year, a sketch design of the TVS new electric scooter appeared in Indonesia, showcasing its futuristic design. The scooter has a sporty design language, with precise LED lighting features. It has thin horizontal LED DRLs on the front with LED turn signals, while the handlebar cowl hosts the main headlamp. A tall windscreen contributes to its distinctive styling, which reinforces its touring-based design.
Body Panels and Key Points
The scooter has modern body panels extending from the apron to the floorboard. This is where the battery pack will be placed. In the rear, the scooter has a split grab rail, LED tail lamps, and a clean-looking tail section. Practicality is not neglected, with some of the details being a small glovebox that has a charging port. Suspension responsibilities are taken care of by dual rear shock absorbers, while the wheels are 14-inch front wheels and 12-inch rear wheels.
Features
The reports indicate that the scooter might come with a mid-mounted motor. This type of mount tends to be seen as giving better balance and performance than motors that are hub-mounted. TVS currently retails the iQube electric scooter in India, so the new model is likely to be below it in price. This would make it target customers looking for an affordable electric product from a known brand.
Expected Name
Gossip also suggests that TVS may name this scooter the Orbiter since it has already registered for a trademark in this name. With its sporty design, out-of-the-world looks, and the likelihood of a competitive price tag, the new scooter is set to target young riders and budget-conscious EV buyers.
