Ladli Behna Yojana: Madhya Pradesh’s Ladli Behna Yojana has become a major financial relief for millions of women every month. The government’s scheduled deposit into accounts easily covers household expenses, children’s education, and other basic needs. In this regard, the government has released the 31st installment this month as well. However, if Rs 1,500 hasn’t yet reached your account, there’s no need to panic. Often, funds become stuck due to incomplete procedures, which can be easily resolved.

Your installment may get stuck due to these reasons

If Rs 1500 hasn’t yet been credited to your account, there could be a few common reasons. Sometimes, payments are blocked due to incomplete e-KYC or document errors. Mismatches between the information in your Samagra ID and Aadhaar card, a bank account not linked to Aadhaar, DBT not being active, or an eligibility error can also be the cause. First, check the status of your Samagra-Aadhaar e-KYC and bank e-KYC.

How to check status?

It’s now very easy to find out whether your installment has arrived or not, without the need to leave your home.

  • First of all go to the official website of the scheme https://cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in
  • Click on the Apply / Payment Status section
  • Enter your application number or overall ID
  • After this, verify the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  • Within a few seconds, complete details of your installment will be displayed on the screen.

Why is e-KYC necessary and the process for getting it done?

The government has mandated e-KYC for the scheme so that only eligible women can receive benefits. This prevents duplication of IDs, confirms local residency, and makes the payment process faster and more secure.

Where and how to get e-KYC done?

If your e-KYC isn’t complete yet, you can visit your nearest ration shop, MP Online Center, or CSC kiosk for free. The government pays the kiosk separately for this process, so you won’t be charged any fees.

Why DBT and Aadhaar Linked Bank Account are Necessary?

The Ladli Behna Yojana funds are disbursed directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The funds are transferred directly to your Aadhaar-linked and DBT-enabled bank account, reducing the risk of failure. If your bank account isn’t DBT-enabled, you can complete this process by visiting your bank. This requires filling out a DBT activation form. After this, your account will become DBT-enabled upon e-KYC verification.
