There is a lot of speculation about the UTS app. This time, this app for booking local train tickets may be closed. This speculation has spread around a notification of the railway. Although no railway official has yet spoken about the matter. However, apart from this notification, monthly tickets are not being purchased on the UTS app for the time being. As a result, speculation is increasing.
This notification has been issued by the Southern Railway. The notification says that the UTS app will not work from March 1, 2026. That work can be done on the RailOne App. Although no such notification has reached the Eastern Railway yet, Eastern Railway Senior DRO Deeptimoy Dutta told bengali.aajtak.in on Friday.

On the other hand, several passengers of the Eastern Railway are also saying that they are not able to purchase monthly tickets from the UTS app on their phones. However, for now, unreserved tickets are being purchased.

Rail One App
Railone App is a new app of Indian Railways. Through this one app, rail passengers will be able to do all the work. From booking tickets to live status of trains, PNR information, and even ordering food on the train, this app will make everything much easier.

Till now, multiple apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTSonMobile, NTES, Rail Madad, Food on Track had to be used for various railway services. Now all these services will be available on a single platform through the RailOne app.
Unreserved ticket booking can also be done through this app. Currently, rail passengers have to use this app for buying monthly tickets for local trains.
