Vande Bharat Trains: Big News for railway passengers. Indian Railways has taken a major decision keeping in mind the convenience of passengers and better operations. Indian Railways has changed the timings of four Vande Bharat Express trains. If you are planning to travel anywhere by Vande Bharat train, then it is important for you to know about this.
According to the Railways, the new time-table will be implemented from March 15, 2026. The trains whose timings have been changed include Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express, Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express and SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express trains. If you are planning to travel anywhere by these trains in the near future, then you must check the new time-table.
The timings of the Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20703) from Kachiguda to Yesvantpur have been changed at Hindupur station. This train was introduced in September 2023 and runs on all days of the week except Friday. Previously, the train arrived at Hindupur station at 15:48, but according to the new schedule, it will now arrive at the station at 15:55. The train will now arrive at this station seven minutes late.
The schedule of the Vande Bharat Express (train number 20704) from Yesvantpur to Kachiguda has also been changed. This train operates on all days of the week except Friday. The railway has changed its arrival time at Hindupur station. Previously, the train arrived at the station at 12:08 pm. According to the new timetable, it will now arrive at 12:17 pm.
The Kalaburagi-to-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 22231) has also had its departure times changed at two stations. The train covers a distance of approximately 550 kilometers and runs on all days of the week except Friday. According to the new schedule, it will now arrive at Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam station at 11:13 am, down from its previous arrival time of 11:00 am. The Yelahanka station has also been rescheduled, arriving at 12:58 pm.
The timings of the SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburgi Vande Bharat Express (train number 22232) have also been changed. This train operates on all days of the week except Thursday. According to the new railway schedule, its arrival time at Yelahanka station has changed from 15:05 to 15:09. Additionally, the train will now arrive at Sri Sathya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam station at 16:45 instead of 16:23. Therefore, passengers are advised to check the new train timings before travelling.
