If citizens wishing to avail the benefits under PM Awas Yojana find that someone is asking for money from them or committing fraud, they should immediately complain about it. You can make this complaint to your Gram Panchayat, Block, District, or State level officials. There is a strong grievance redressal system under this scheme, in which after receiving the complaint, the concerned officials take immediate action on it.

When is the complaint resolved?

After filing a complaint, the government has ensured that the complaint is resolved within 45 days. If the complaint is not resolved within the stipulated time, the beneficiary can contact the local housing assistant or block development officer of his area and file the complaint again there. This process is completely transparent and there should be no delay in it, if there is still a delay, then it can be informed at the higher level.

Who gets the benefit of PM Awas Yojana?

The benefit of PM Awas Yojana is available to those people of economically weaker section, whose annual family income is up to Rs 3 lakh. Income slab has been fixed for different sections in this scheme, which includes EWS (Economically Weaker Section), LIG ​​(Low Income Group) and MIG (Middle Income Group).
