How to Link Aadhaar with Internet Banking?

  • If you use internet banking, you can add Aadhaar in a few easy steps while sitting at home.
  • Visit the official website of your bank and login to net banking.
  • Go to My Account or Services section and click on option like Update Aadhaar with Bank Account.
  • After clicking on Aadhaar linking, you may have to verify with OTP or transaction password.
  • Now a new page will open, where you have to enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number twice.
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • If all the details are correct, you will receive a confirmation message or email/SMS that your Aadhaar has been successfully linked.

How to link Aadhaar with mobile app?

  1. If you use a smartphone, you can easily link Aadhaar with the bank’s mobile app.
  2. Download your bank’s official mobile app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  3. Open the app and login with username, password or biometric.
  4. Go to the Services or My Account section and select the View/Update Aadhaar Card Details option.
  5. Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number twice.
  6. Then click on the Submit button.
  7. After some time you will get a message of successful linking.
