What is UIDAI’s service?
You can lock the biometric fingerprint and iris of the Aadhaar card online. With this, no person can withdraw money with a fingerprint without your permission.
How to lock the biometric
Go to the official website of UIDAI.
After this, you will have to go to the My Aadhaar section.
Then you will need to choose Lock/Unlock Biometrics.
Then enter the Aadhaar number, and log in with OTP
After this, you will have to click on Enable Biometric Locking.
What will happen even after the lock?k
You will be surprised to know that even after the biometric lock, you can take advantage of eKYC, LPG subsidy, and government services with OTP. There will be no problem with this.
