Honda Electric: Honda is all set to raise the curtain on its upcoming electric motorcycle next month. The official reveal date is September 2, and the company has already released a teaser video showing the bike in motion. Though the full design hasn’t been revealed, the teaser hints at a sporty look inspired by the EV Fun Concept shown earlier at global auto events.

Teaser Reveals and Design Hints

In the teaser, Honda kept the design mostly under wraps but did show the bike being ridden. According to experts, the upcoming electric motorcycle may borrow styling elements from the EV Fun Concept, a model that was showcased by Honda at last year’s EICMA Motorcycle Show in Milan. While nothing official has been said about specs, media reports claim the bike might generate around 50bhp.

Focus on Performance and Tech

Honda appears to be shifting its EV strategy from scooters to electric motorcycles, aiming to strengthen its position in the global electric two-wheeler market. The bike is expected to offer premium features like a digital TFT instrument cluster, DRL at the front, bar-end mirrors, and clip-on handlebars. A single-sided swingarm has also been spotted, hinting at a performance-focused build.

Fast Charging Like Electric Cars

One standout feature confirmed earlier by Honda is CCS2 charging compatibility. This means the new electric bike could support fast charging similar to electric cars, making it a practical option for riders who want quicker top-ups on the go.

India Launch Might Take Time

While global debut is confirmed, Honda has not yet announced a launch timeline for India. The brand currently seems more focused on launching electric scooters in the Indian market first. Meanwhile, the company’s earlier model, the E-VO, offered decent range with two battery options—though it’s unclear if the new motorcycle will follow a similar pattern.
