Aadhaar PVC Card: If you’re fed up with the old paper version of your Aadhaar card, there’s a fantastic alternative available now – the Aadhaar PVC card. This new card, introduced by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), is not only durable and secure but also comes with various safety features.
PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride, and these cards are similar to PAN cards in that they are made of plastic. Your Aadhaar details are printed on it. According to UIDAI, the Aadhaar PVC card includes a secure QR code, hologram, micro text, the date of issue, and other important information. Being made of plastic, it’s resistant to damage.
