Brilliant students in Madhya Pradesh have received a special gift from the state government. On Friday, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred ₹25,000 each to 94,234 students who scored 75% or more in the MP Board Class 12 exam. The amount was given for buying laptops. The CM gave this money under the Pratibha Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana at the Kushabhau Thackeray Convention Center in Bhopal.
This year, the Madhya Pradesh government has given a total of ₹235 crore 58 lakh 50 thousand for laptops to 94,234 students. Last year (2023–24), more than ₹224 crore was given to 89,710 meritorious students. This scheme started in 2010. In the last 15 years, over ₹1000 crore has been transferred to the bank accounts of 4,32,016 students.
Who Will Get ₹25,000?
To get ₹25,000 under the Free Laptop Scheme in Madhya Pradesh, the student must have passed the Class 12 exam from the Madhya Pradesh Board. The student must also get 75% or more marks in the exam. Only these students can get the money.
How to Check Your Name
If you got 75% or more marks in Class 12, you can check your name on the Madhya Pradesh Education Portal.
Go to the website. Click on the “Eligibility” section. Then click on “List of Eligible Students.”
Now, choose your district, school, and exam year. You will see the full list of students from your school who can get the money.
What to Do If You Did Not Get the Money
- If you did not get ₹25,000 in your bank account, first check the payment status on the portal.
- If your name is not there, you can complain online or go to the Education Office.
