There is great news for lakhs of pension and scheme beneficiaries of Jharkhand state. The beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana will get the amount for September before Durga Puja. Along with this, about 11.75 lakh old-age, widow, and disabled pensioners of the state are also going to get pension amount for three months together. This decision has been taken by the government in view of the festive season, so that the beneficiaries do not face any problem.
When will the amount of Maiya Yojana be received

The amount of Maiya Samman Yojana will be transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries before Durga Puja in September. The Directorate of Social Security has said to issue guidelines to all the districts soon in this regard. The process of transferring the amount to the districts will start after September 15. Apart from this, the amount for October will also be received before Diwali and Chhath festival, as the Directorate has already allocated funds till November to the districts. Under the Maiya Samman Yojana, ₹ 2500 is given to the beneficiary every month.
Who will get how much pension
The elderly, widows, and disabled will get a pension for three months from July to September together. Each pensioner will get an amount of ₹3000, as ₹1000 is given every month. There are a total of 11,75,646 pensioners in the state, including 8,99,076 old age pensioners, 2,51,173 widow pensioners, and 25,397 disabled pensioners. Under the Chief Minister Mania Samman Yojana, ₹2500 per month is given per beneficiary, and more than 50 lakh women will get the benefit in the month of September. The government has also sought information about withdrawing money from those ineligible beneficiaries who have wrongly availed of the scheme.

Names of pension schemes
The central and state governments run many pension schemes together in Jharkhand. In these schemes, ₹1000 is given per month, which apart from the fixed amount of the central government, the rest of the money is given by the state government.
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme:- Under this, BPL elderly people above 60 years of age get ₹1000 per month.
Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme:- Widows above 40 years of age are given ₹1000 per month.
National Disabled Pension Scheme:- Pension is given to BPL category people with more than 80% disability.
This decision will help people financially and give them relief during festivals.
