The Uttar Pradesh government is continuously taking new initiatives to modernize agriculture and make farmers self-reliant. In this regard, the tractor subsidy scheme has been implemented for farmers belonging to the Scheduled Caste category before the start of 2026. This scheme is considered very important for those farmers who were unable to purchase modern agricultural machinery due to limited resources.

Online Application Process
The government has decided to operate this scheme entirely through online means. The aim is to ensure that there is no corruption or irregularities at any level and that farmers can avail the benefits of the scheme without any additional expenses or difficulties. The application process has already started, and farmers can fill out the form from the comfort of their homes using the internet.

Application Deadline
The last date for online applications for the tractor subsidy scheme is January 15, 2026. The government has clarified that no applications will be considered after this date. Therefore, interested farmers are advised to prepare all their necessary documents in time and complete the application process.

Where and How to Apply
Applications for this scheme will only be accepted through the Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department’s DBT portal, agriculture.up.gov.in. Offline or handwritten applications will not be accepted. While applying, farmers will have to scan and upload their personal information, land details, and necessary certificates. The verification process will be completed through Aadhaar and mobile number.

How will the selection be made after the application?
The selection of farmers will be done by a district-level executive committee, chaired by the District Magistrate. The committee will verify the farmer’s eligibility, land ownership, caste certificate, and the actual status of farming. Only those farmers who fulfill all the conditions will be given the benefit of the tractor subsidy scheme.

Patwari Report is Mandatory
The Patwari report is considered the most important document in this scheme. This report will be prepared on a proforma prescribed by the Agriculture Department, which will contain complete information about the farmer’s land, caste, and farming. Uploading this report with the online application is mandatory, and the application will be considered incomplete without it.

The Agriculture Department has appealed to farmers to register the same mobile number that is linked to their Aadhaar card when applying. In case of any errors or technical problems, farmers can seek assistance from their nearest block development office. This scheme is an important opportunity for Scheduled Caste farmers to make farming easier and more profitable.
