Golden Opportunity for Farmers: Government Offers 50% Subsidy on Super Seeder Machine, Apply Now

The Super Seeder application is available on the Department of Agricultural Engineering’s online portal, e-Agricultural Equipment Grant (dbt.mpdage.org). These machines allow farmers to direct sow wheat, paddy, and other crops, directly following harvest and without plowing and disking, while incorporating the stubble and the straw into the soil with no need to burn it- making it organic natural fertilizer.

The approximate cost of the machine is ₹2.40 lakh to ₹3 lakh, with 50% assistance, up to ₹1.20 lakh from the government. This allows farmers to pay the remaining amount, after assistance. Documents Required

Assistant Agricultural Engineer Akhilesh Solanki said that farmers need these documents to apply:

• Aadhaar card
• Land records or B1
• Bank demand draft (DD) of ₹4,500 from the farmer’s own account, made in the name of the Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Morena
• Tractor Registration Certificate (RC) for tractors above 50 HP
• Caste certificate (for SC or ST farmers)
• Copy of bank passbook

How to Apply for Happy Seeder & Super Seeder Subsidy

1. Visit the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Portal – https://farmer.mpdage.org/Home/Index
2. Upload the required documents:
3. Aadhaar card (linked with mobile number)
4. Bank passbook (first page)
5. Land ownership papers (Khatauni/Khata, B1)
6. Tractor RC
7. DD of ₹4,500 for each machine – Happy Seeder or Super Seeder
8. Make the DD in the name of the Assistant Agricultural Engineer of your district.
9. Applications without DD will not be accepted.

Process: From Lottery to Subsidy

• The number of targets will depend on applications received.
• Farmers will be chosen through a lottery.
• Selected farmers will get an approval letter.
• After approval, buy the machine within 20 days.
• Pay by DD, cheque, or online (no cash).
• Upload all purchase documents on the portal.
• Officials will check the machine within 7 days.
• After verification, the subsidy will go directly to the farmer’s bank account.
