Gold Price Weekly: Gold and silver prices are continuously changing. Gold rates are sometimes rising and sometimes falling. The price of 24 carat gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) had gained Rs 147 to Rs 1,50,675 per 10 grams till the close of trading on June 12. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,47,800 per 10 grams as of the market close on Friday. Since the market is closed on Saturday and Sunday, the same price will be valid on both days.

Gold cheapens in a week
Speaking of gold rates in the domestic market, according to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association IBJA.com), the 10 Gram 24 Karat Gold Rate has depreciated. Gold has depreciated by Rs 3689 in the past week. Gold has fallen to Rs 147,800 per 10 grams, down from Rs 151,489 during the period.
