The Indian government has launched the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to help provide financial support to the country’s struggling farmers. This is a major initiative aimed at improving the livelihoods of those in need. Through this program, farmers receive a total of Rs 6,000 each year, which is distributed in three installments.

These payments are made every four months, with each installment providing Rs 2,000 directly to the farmers’ bank accounts. So far, the government has completed 16 installments, and the 17th one is expected to be released soon.

A common question among farmers is whether those who pay income tax can benefit from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. If you’re curious about this, here’s the scoop: farmers who are income tax payers are not eligible for this scheme.

As for the number of installments received, beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Yojana have enjoyed a total of 19 installments to date. The latest, the 19th installment, was released on February 24, benefiting around 9.8 crore farmers. PM Modi transferred the funds directly to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts using the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

So far, there have been 19 installments released, and now everyone is eagerly anticipating the 20th one. Farmers involved in the scheme are counting down the days. Each installment comes out every four months, and since the 19th was released in February, we’ve got to wait until June for the next one.
