Gold Price Today: No significant changes are observed in gold and silver prices in Indian markets this morning, Saturday. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price was recorded at ₹150,263 per 10 grams by the time markets closed on Thursday. Since the markets were closed over the past few days for Maharashtra Day, these same rates will remain in effect today. The bullion market was closed on May 1st due to Labour Day.

Consequently, Thursday’s rates remained in effect throughout Friday. No trading took place on the MCX during the day; however, the market did open for evening trading sessions. According to the All India Bullion Association, the price of gold had reached ₹1.54 lakh per 10 grams by the time markets closed on Thursday. Meanwhile, following a price decline, silver was trading at ₹242,700 per kilogram.

According to data from the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹150,260 per 10 grams at the close of the previous trading session, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at ₹146,660 per 10 grams.

On the other hand, on the MCX, gold and silver rates were trading with gains as of 11:21 PM on Friday night. Silver for May delivery was up by ₹8,883—a rise of 3.72 per cent—and was being quoted at ₹247,500 per kilogram. Meanwhile, gold prices rose by ₹208, with the yellow metal trading at ₹151,319 per 10 grams.
