Gold Price Today:- The price of gold and silver has again seen a jump today, on August 5. The price of gold and silver is changing every day. The price of gold has crossed Rs 1 lakh per 10 grams. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 999 purity gold has increased by Rs 230 to Rs 1,00,397 per 10 grams. Earlier, the price of gold was Rs 1,00,167. At the same time, the price of silver has increased by Rs 528 to Rs 1,12,428 per kg.

What are the latest prices of gold?

According to the IBJA website, the price of 995 purity gold has increased to Rs 99,995 per tola as of August 5, up from Rs 97,966 per 10 grams in the past few days. Apart from this, the price of 22-carat gold of 916 purity increased to Rs 9,196 per tola on Tuesday, up from Rs 9,175 per 10 grams as of the evening of August 4. Apart from this, the price of 18-carat gold of 750 purity is ₹75298 per tola. At the same time, the cost of 14-carat gold has reached ₹5,832 per 10 grams. GST and making charges are not included in this. The price of silver is ₹ 1,12,428 per kilogram.

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association releases the rates of gold and silver from Monday to Friday. GST is not included in this. The prices are released by IBJA twice a day, once at noon and again at 5 pm. After the imposition of GST on gold jewellery, the prices have increased further.

Gold has become costlier by ₹24,235 so far this year

As of January 1, 2025, the price of 24-carat gold has increased from Rs 76,162 to Rs 24,235 to Rs 1,00,397 per 10 grams. The price of silver has increased from Rs 86,017 per kg to Rs 1,12,428.
