Gold Price Today: December 30, 2025: As the year draws to a close, gold and silver prices are experiencing significant fluctuations. Over the past few days, gold and silver prices have been rising steadily. However, a substantial drop in gold prices was recorded today, December 30th. The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 3050 today. Gold prices declined in the domestic market.
Meanwhile, a slight increase was recorded in gold prices on the MCX. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), by Monday evening, the cost of gold had fallen to Rs 1,36,781 per 10 grams. On the other hand, on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold was recorded at a strong Rs 1,40,230 per 10 grams.

Gold Rate Today in India
Today, a significant drop in gold prices was observed in India. The cost of 24-karat gold was recorded at Rs 13,620 per gram, a decrease of Rs 305 from yesterday’s price. The price of 22-karat gold remained at Rs 12,485 per gram, a reduction of Rs 280 from yesterday. The cost of 18-karat gold also declined by up to Rs 251.
MCX Gold Rate
At around 9:20 AM, MCX Gold February futures were up 0.54% at Rs 1,35,668 per 10 grams. At that time, MCX Silver March futures were up 3.81% at Rs 2,32,970 per kilogram.
