Gold prices have plummeted today. However, the price of silver has seen a massive jump. On October 10, gold became cheaper by ₹1,784. Silver prices have also seen a significant jump of ₹2,593.
The price of 24-carat gold now stands at ₹124,470 per 10 grams, including GST. Silver has reached ₹167,007 per kg, including GST. Gold prices had been steadily rising for the past several days, but today saw a significant drop in gold prices.
According to IBJA, 24-carat gold opened at ₹120,845 per 10 grams on October 10th, excluding GST. On Thursday, it closed at ₹122,629 without GST. Silver, on the other hand, closed at ₹159,550 per kg without GST. Today, silver opened at ₹162,143 per kg without GST.
Today’s Gold Prices
23-carat gold fell by ₹1,777 to ₹120,361 per 10 grams. After adding GST, the price of gold rose to ₹123,971. However, after adding making charges, the price of gold will rise even further. Meanwhile, the price of 22-carat gold fell by ₹1,634 to ₹112,274 per 10 grams. After adding GST, the price of gold will rise to ₹114,014 per 10 grams.

Apart from this, the price of 18-carat gold has seen a decline of Rs 1338. After the decrease in the rate of gold, it has come down to Rs 90634 per 10 grams and with GST, its price has reached Rs 93353 per 10 grams. Talking about the rate of 14-carat gold, it opened at Rs 70694, falling by Rs 1044, and now it has come down to Rs 72814, including GST.
