Forgot IRCTC User ID?
If you have forgotten your user ID, first go to the IRCTC website and click on Forgot User ID on the login page. After this, you will have to enter your registered mobile number and email ID. On giving the correct information, your user ID will be sent to your mobile or email.
If the method mentioned above does not work, then check your old emails. When you booked the ticket from IRCTC, your user ID is also in the email that you received. Apart from this, if you booked the ticket through a travel agent, then you can also ask the user ID from them.
If you have forgotten your password, first open the IRCTC website and go to the login page and click on Forgot Password. Here you will have to enter your user ID, mobile number and captcha code.
After filling the information, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile or email. Enter this OTP and verify it. After this, you will get the option to create a new password.
Once the OTP is verified, you can set a new password, enter the new password, then confirm it and submit it. Now you can login to your IRCTC account with the new password.
