FASTag Annual Pass- FASTag annual pass has started in the country from 15 August 2025. The central government wants to make the movement of people easier with the help of this pass. The special thing is that its cost will be only Rs 3000. This will save Rs 7000 annually. According to the central government, this will cost only Rs 15 at every toll. Process to activate FASTag Annual Pass
- FASTag Annual Pass needs to be activated only by visiting Rajmargyatra mobile app and NHAI portal.
- For this, the car owner will have to verify the eligibility of the FASTag installed on his vehicle.
- Once the verification is complete, you will have to pay its annual fee of Rs 3000.
- FASTag Annual Pass will get activated within 2 hours after your payment confirmation.
- This activation will happen on your existing FASTag only. You do not need to buy a new FASTag.
- By making payment on FASTag Annual Pass, it will be valid for the next 1 year or till you cross 200 tolls.
You will also have to take care of these small things
- FASTag must be properly affixed on the windshield of the vehicle
- It must be linked to a valid vehicle registration number and must not be blacklisted
- It will work only at toll booths operated by the Centre
- It will not be applicable on toll plazas run by state governments and other state agencies.
What is FASTag Annual Pass?
The Annual Pass activated on FASTag allows a private car/jeep/van to travel on National Highway (NH) and National Expressway toll plazas for a year or up to 200 trips (whichever is earlier). You will be able to cross these tolls without any per-trip fee. This pass will be effective from August 15, 2025.
