FASTag Annual Pass. If you have a vehicle that has to go to another city due to your work. Tax has to be paid on the toll on the highway. Due to which people spend a lot of money. Now the government has announced to start such a FASTag Annual Pass. Under this, a toll-free travel facility will be available for one year or 200 trips for just Rs 3,000. This is going to save a lot of people, although some important conditions have also been kept in it.
The government is constantly updating the rules related to toll tax. Now, the Modi government is going to start the FASTag Annual Pass from 15 August 2025. Under which toll-free travel facility will be available for one year or 200 trips for just Rs 3,000? This service will be available on the entire National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) network.

Eligibility for FASTag Annual Pass
Please note that the FASTag Annual Pass will not be available to everyone. It will be available only to vehicle owners with private cars, jeeps or vans, so commercial vehicles will not get this facility. If someone tries to obtain it in the wrong way, then FASTag will be closed immediately on misuse. The government will verify the vehicle information from the VAHAN database here.
Where will you get a FASTag Annual Pass?
You can buy a FASTag Annual Pass through the authorised channel mentioned by the government. You can apply by visiting the Highway Yatra mobile app or the NHAI website. By applying online here, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 3,000, after which the pass will be activated in about 2 hours after verification.
How will the Annual Pass work?
FASTag Annual Pass is a new system for the people, by which if you pass through all the toll plazas of NH and NE, then the toll will be free. However, keep in mind that after completion of 200 trips or one year, the pass will automatically be converted into a normal FASTag.

Trips will be counted in the FASTag Annual Pass. In the open toll system, each crossing will be considered as one trip. Whereas in the closed toll system (where there are both entry and exit), one entry-exit will be recorded as one trip.
