Fake Rs 500 note: There is big news for common people. If you have a Rs 500 note, then beware.

The government has once again issued a high alert regarding fake 500 rupee notes in the market. Do you have these notes? Fake notes look exactly like real notes, but they can be identified by some special differences. The government and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) have given information about the difference between real and fake notes.

How to differentiate between a real and a fake 500 rupee note

1. According to recent information, some spelling mistakes are being reported in fake notes. In fake notes,
The spelling of RESERVE BANK OF INDIA is written as ‘A’ instead of ‘E.’. By paying attention to this small but important mistake, you can also identify fake and real notes.

2. Real and fake notes can also be identified by the security thread. There is a thread in the middle of the real note whose color changes. As soon as the note is tilted, the green color changes to blue. India and RBI are also written on this thread. Talking about fake notes, the color of the security thread in them can be blurred. The color cannot change when the note is tilted. Words written on the security thread, such as RBI and India, may not be clear.

3. When we keep a real 500 rupee note in front of light, Mahatma Gandhi’s picture and the electrotype watermark of Rs 500 are visible on the right side. In fake notes, this watermark can be unclear, missing, or blurred.

4. Bharat and India are hidden in tiny letters on the original 500 rupee note. These can be seen with a magnifying glass. But in a fake note, these letters may be missing or unclear.

5. The printing of a real note is clear and of high quality. In which the Ashoka Pillar, Red Fort motif, and Mahatma Gandhi’s picture are all clearly visible. But in a fake note, this picture may be faded, and the print may appear blurred.

6. The original 500 rupee note has the Ashoka Pillar, Mahatma Gandhi’s picture, and other symbols embossed. These have been made to help visually impaired people identify the note. These symbols can be seen by running a hand over the note. In a fake note, this embossed printing may be less or disappear.

7. The Swachh Bharat logo, language panel in the center, picture of the Red Fort, and year of printing are clearly written on the original note. In a fake note, some of these may be missing or unclear or in the wrong place.
