Some relief news for the employees. This time, EPFO or Employees Provident Fund Organization is going to launch a new scheme for them. The Union Finance Minister had promised this in the Union Budget 2024-25 with the aim of creating employment in manufacturing and other sectors. The Center is going to launch such a scheme to increase the performance of the youth.
The Union Cabinet has already approved a project worth Rs 99,446 crore in this sector. The Center expects that 1 crore 92 lakh people are going to get the benefit of this scheme. However, the Labor Ministry says that this scheme will encourage the creation of a total of more than 3 crore 50 lakh jobs in two years.

This scheme will start from August 1, 2025. And this scheme will end on July 31, 2027. But who will get this 15 thousand rupees? Employees working in any organization whose annual salary is less than 1 lakh rupees will be given this 15 thousand rupees in two installments. Apart from this, under this scheme, companies registered with EPFO will also get a maximum of 3 thousand rupees per month for 2 years if they hire new employees. However, the central government has also said that the period of this scheme can be extended for another 2 years for the manufacturing sector.
