EPFO: EPFO has brought a big surprise to everyone. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) handed over appointment letters to 976 new employees participating in the 15th Job Fair on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The event took place simultaneously at 47 locations across India, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing the youth through video conferencing.
51,000 youths have new opportunities
Through this job fair, more than 51,000 youths across the country were given appointment letters in various departments of the Central Government. This is another strong step towards the regular recruitment policy of the Central Government and youth empowerment.
EPFO filled 976 posts
EPFO has recruited a total of 976 posts for its organization on this occasion. This includes 345 Accounts Officers/Enforcement Officers and 631 Social Security Assistants. With these new appointments, EPFO aims to ensure efficient and effective delivery of social security services to millions of subscribers across the country.
Reform the appointment system
The Ministry of Labor and Employment said that EPFO has set up a Recruitment Cell at the headquarters so that the recruitment process can be done smoothly and on time. As per the instructions of Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, a recruitment calendar has also been prepared so that transparent and regular appointments can be ensured in the coming time.

In 2024 also EPFO had recruited for various posts, which included:-
159 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC)
84 Junior Translation Officer (JTO)
28 Stenographer
These recruitments enhanced the service capacity of the organization.
