The National Agriculture Market, i.e. e-NAM scheme (Electronic-National Agriculture Market) was started in the year 2016. It is an all-India electronic trading portal. According to government data, at present, more than 1000 mandis of 18 states and 3 union territories are connected to the National Agricultural Market. That is, farmers can sell their crops at a good price.

The government is providing a single market facility for agricultural commodities through the e-NAM scheme, so that farmers can sell crops here transparently. The objective of the government in operating this scheme is to reduce the wastage of agricultural produce by providing better storage and transportation facilities.
