With the arrival of the festive season, the increasing crowd in trains becomes a big challenge for the passengers, especially on important festivals like Diwali and Chhath Puja. To control this crowd and for the convenience of the passengers, the railway administration has announced to run a Pushpa Special train. This train will run between Hubli-Bhagat Ki Kothi-Hubli and will make a total of 5 trips from 28 September to 28 October. This step has brought a big relief to the passengers who want to go to their homes during these festivals.
Train timings and stoppages
According to Anurag Tripathi, Jodhpur DRM of North Western Railway, train number 07359/07360, Hubli-Bhagat Ki Kothi Weekly Puja Special is being operated for the convenience of the passengers.
Departure from Hubli
Train number 07359 will leave Hubli from 28 September to 26 October (total 5 trips) every Sunday at 7:30 pm and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 5:30 am on Tuesday.
Departure from Bhagat Ki Kothi
On the return journey, train number 07360 will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi from September 30 to October 28 (total 5 trips) every Tuesday at 7:50 am and reach Hubli on Wednesday at 3:15 pm.
This special train will be equipped with modern LHB coaches, making the journey of passengers comfortable and safe.
The train will stop at these stations
Senior DCM Vikas Kheda said that this Puja special train will stop at many important stations during its journey. It will stop at Dharwad, Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Pune, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Falna, Marwar Junction, Pali Marwar, and Luni Junction stations.
Appeal to passengers
Railways have appealed to passengers to make reservations for their seats in view of the possibility of a heavy rush during the festivals. Railways has clarified that this special train is being run for a limited period and fixed trips only, hence timely booking will be necessary for the availability of tickets. This initiative will give the happiness of going home during the festivals to millions of passengers.
