The central government started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana in 2019. The aim of this scheme is to give financial help to small and marginal farmers. Farmers between 18 to 40 years can join this scheme. The premium depends on age. It starts from ₹55 and goes up to ₹200 every month. After the age of 60, farmers get ₹3000 pension every month. If a farmer dies, his wife will get half the pension, that is ₹1500 every month.
How to apply
To get benefits from this scheme, farmers have to visit the official website. After this, they need to login and fill in the required details. Then they have to click on Generate OTP and enter the OTP received. After this, they must click on Submit. The application process will be completed.
