Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC: Numerous government schemes are being implemented by the central and state governments. These include special schemes for farmers and women. Currently, the Maharashtra government is implementing the Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to women. Under this scheme, women receive ₹1,500 monthly and ₹18,000 annually. This scheme was launched in 2024 and is designed to empower women financially.

It’s important to note that all beneficiaries must complete their KYC under this scheme by December 31st, 2025. Otherwise, future payments may be withheld. ₹36,000 crore has been allocated for this scheme in the year 2025-2026. Women covered under the Namo Shetkari Maha-Samman Nidhi will receive an additional ₹500 instead of the original ₹1,500. The government recently removed the names of over 2,200 ineligible individuals.
Who can apply?
For information, women between the ages of 21 and 65 are eligible for this scheme. To apply, visit the website ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. Beneficiaries must have an income of less than ₹2.5 lakh. If your account is not linked to Aadhaar, the amount received under the scheme will not be credited to your account. Furthermore, if you fail to complete eKYC by December 31st, the ₹1,500 amount will not be credited to your account.
What are the required documents?
Regarding the required documents, an Aadhaar card, a voter ID card, and a birth certificate are required as proof of identity. Address proof requires a ration card, residence certificate, and domicile certificate. Income proof requires an income certificate.
How to get e-KYC done
To get eKYC done, visit the website https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/.
Then click on the e-KYC option on the home page.
Enter your Aadhaar number and fill in the captcha code. Tick the declaration option.
Generate an OTP, which will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Enter the OTP and verify the details, then click Submit.
You will receive a confirmation message on your screen.
Go to the Application Made Earlier section to check the status.
