Through a missed call

If your mobile number is linked to UAN, you can obtain the information by making a missed call from your registered mobile number to 9966044425. By making a missed call to this number, you’ll receive messages from EPFO that display the balance of your PF accounts.

Know balance via an SMS

You can verify your EPF account balance and recent contributions by texting an SMS to 7738299899. To do this, you must text AN EPFOHO ENG from your registered phone number and send the message. ENG here stands for English. If you’re interested in another language, then provide the first three letters of it.

Online method

Go to the EPFO site, select the Employees section, and then choose Member Passbook. You can view the PF passbook by inputting your UAN and password. It will display the beginning and ending balance along with the contributions from both the employee and employer. The sum of any PF transfer and the accumulated PF interest will also be displayed. The passbook also allows you to view the EPF balance. You can also view your PF balance using the Umang app.
