NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India): NPCI is the organization that operates the online Aadhaar payment process in India. It helps the government to run all government transactions smoothly.

In today’s time, the benefits of most government schemes are given directly in the bank accounts linked to Aadhaar. If DBT and NPCI are not activated in your account, then you may have trouble getting the benefits of these schemes.

How to check the status of DBT and NPCI with your Aadhaar number

The government has launched a new portal, where you can use your Aadhaar number to find out in minutes whether DBT and NPCI are active in your bank account or not. Let’s know how to check the status:

Go to the official portal of the Aadhaar card: First of all, search “NPCI” on Google.

Open the website of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI): Open the website npci.org.in from the search result.

Select Consumer option: After the website opens, select the “Consumer” option in the menu above.

Select the DBT India option: Now select the “DBT India” option on the page that appears.

Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code: Next, carefully enter your Aadhaar number and the captcha code that appears.

Submit form and complete OTP verification: After filling out the form, click on the “Submit” button. After this, an OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar number. Complete the verification by entering this OTP.

Check status: After the verification is complete, you will get the option to open the status from your Aadhaar number. Click on it.

Bank and status information: Now the name of the bank in which your DBT is active will appear on the screen. Also, the status of NPCI and DBT will also be visible. Now you can easily know whether DBT and NPCI are active in your bank account or not.

What to do if DBT and NPCI are not activated in your account

If DBT and NPCI are not activated in your account, then you have to contact your bank. The bank will help you and activate DBT and NPCI in your account. Avail the benefits of government schemes without any hassle. By activating DBT and NPCI in your bank account, you can easily avail the benefits of government schemes.
