DA Hike Update: Central employees are eagerly waiting for the increase in dearness allowance (DA). Everyone is wondering when their DA will be increased. There are discussions that before Diwali, the central government can open the treasure box for its employees, which is going to be like a gift.
It is expected that the government will increase DA by up to 3 per cent, which will be a great thing for the employees. A bumper increase in salary is also believed to be certain. The Modi government has not officially said anything about the DA hike. Media reports are claiming till October 15. Know how much the salary will increase.
How much will the dearness allowance be?
If the Modi government increases DA by 3 per cent, then it will increase to 58 per cent. At present, DA is 5 per cent. The rates of DA, which will increase in the month of October, will be effective from the second half of the year, i.e. July 1. Earlier, the rates of DA, which were increased, were reimplemented on January 1.
Bumper increase in salary possible
After the decision of the central government to increase DA, the salary will jump like a leopard. If the basic salary of a central employee is Rs 30,000, then according to 3 per cent DA, there will be an increase of Rs 900 per month. According to this, an increase of up to Rs 10800 in the annual salary is considered certain. This amount is going to prove like a booster dose in inflation.
When will the 8th Pay Commission be implemented?
Another good news can be received for central employees. It is expected that the 8th Pay Commission can be implemented by the year 2027. It has not been formed yet. The 8th Pay Commission is likely to be formed in the month of October. However, no one has said anything officially yet. Such claims are being made in media reports.
