If the salary of an employee is Rs 40,000, then according to 3% DA, there can be an increase of Rs 1200 per month. According to this, an increase of Rs 14,400 can be seen annually. This will prove to be some kind of booster dose for the employees.
What is the status of the 8th Pay Commission?

In January, the government gave the green signal to this pay commission, but the non-formation of the committee till now is raising many big questions. The committee is likely to be formed only by Diwali.
Now the 8th Pay Commission will not be implemented from January 1, 2026. This will prove to be a big setback for the employees. Now the benefits of the new pay commission are likely to start by the year 2028.
