You can apply to open a Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra for just Rs 5,000. However, it is important to note that applicants must have a D-Pharma or B-Pharma certificate to open a Jan Aushadhi Kendra. Other requirements include an approximate 120 sq ft of space to operate the Jan Aushadhi Kendra.

– Go to the website janaushadhi.gov.in from your laptop or computer.
– Click on the “Apply For Kendra” option in the menu.
– Then a new page will open. There you have to click on “Click Here To Apply”.
– Then the sign-in form will open on the screen.
– Click on the “Register Now” option below.
– Then the form for Jan Aushadhi Kendra will open.
– Then read it carefully and fill it correctly.
– After filling the form, check it once and then select the state from the drop-down list.
– Click on the Terms and Conditions box. Then click on the Submit option.

If the government considers government assistance for opening a Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra, then financial assistance is provided in the form of incentives. For purchasing medicines worth up to Rs 5 lakh, the center provides an incentive of 15 percent per month or a maximum of Rs 15,000. The government also provides a one-time incentive of Rs 2 lakh for infrastructure expenditure in special departments or sectors.
