BSNL 5G Network:- To retain its customers, the government telecom company BSNL is engaged in expanding its network along with introducing new plans. Now in the meantime, BSNL has announced the name of 5G service. The company shared the details of its 5G service on Wednesday through the social media platform. The company said that the name of their 5G service will be Q-5G, which is the short form of Quantum 5G. BSNL wrote on X post, ‘Mr A. Robert J. Ravi has soft-launched the revolutionary BSNL Quantum 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) service in Hyderabad. It is now live in select cities. Experience lightning-fast internet with BSNL Q-5G FWA.’

This service has been launched for businesses and enterprises, from which consumers will not currently benefit. The company claims that this is the first 5G FWA service, which will operate without any wires or SIM cards. This service will be delivered to the people with the help of local technology.

How much will the service cost?

According to the telecom operator, Quantum 5G FWA will offer only high-speed data. In this plan, you will not receive voice calling service. The price of this service starts from Rs 999 per month. To increase network coverage, BSNL plans to install 1 lakh new 4G and 5G mobile towers, whose approval is pending with the Union Cabinet. Last year, BSNL had promised to install the same number of towers, out of which more than 70,000 have been activated. Completion of these installations will lead to a significant improvement in connectivity. The BSNL company is engaged in improving its 4G service. Along with this, BSNL is also preparing to launch 5G service.
