Validity of Blue Aadhar Card

The Blue Aadhar Card is also issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It is a 12 digit unique number. This blue coloured Aadhar card is made for children aged 5 years or less. This Aadhar card is valid for 5 years. After this, this Aadhar card has to be updated. This blue coloured Aadhar card cannot be used after the age of 5 years. This Aadhar card only has the child’s photo.

To get a blue Aadhaar card made online, you will first have to visit the UIDAI website. In this, parents will have to enter their number along with giving the necessary information of the child in Aadhaar registration. Enrollment center will have to be booked for the registration process. Here the necessary documents like parents’ Aadhaar card, address proof and child’s birth certificate will be checked. After this, the Aadhaar card will be issued within 60 days. It is sent to the given address through post. It has to be updated after 5 years.
