How to Check Your Name on the Beneficiary List
Whether you’re a former beneficiary or have recently registered, checking your name on the list is very easy. You don’t need to visit any office; just follow the simple steps below:
First, visit the official website, pmkisan.gov.in. Select the ‘Beneficiary List’ option on the home page. A new page will open where you’ll need to select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village. After entering all the necessary information correctly, click the ‘Get Report’ button. A list of your entire village will open, where you can easily see your name.
e-KYC is mandatory
The government has issued clear and strict instructions that the 22nd installment will be withheld for farmers whose e-KYC process is incomplete. If you haven’t completed your KYC yet, do so immediately. You can complete your e-KYC yourself using the portal using your Aadhaar OTP, or you can update it securely through biometrics at your nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Remember, without KYC, the funds will not reach your account.
Bank Account and Aadhaar Linking
The scheme funds are transferred directly to your account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), which requires certain conditions to be met. Your bank account must be active and linked to your Aadhaar card. Most importantly, the ‘DBT’ option must be enabled on your account. If there’s an issue with Aadhaar seeding in your account, contact your bank manager immediately and have it corrected; your installment could be delayed.
