Ration Card- Good news for Ration Card holders. The government has started giving ration for the month of May for free. District Supply Officer Puran Singh Chauhan said that Antyodaya and eligible six household card holders are getting free ration under the National Food Security Act-2013, which will continue till May 25, 2025.
Free ration will be available
Under this scheme, Antyodaya card holders will get 14 kg wheat and 21 kg rice per card, i.e. a total of 35 kg ration free. At the same time, eligible household card holders will be given 2 kg wheat and 3 kg rice per unit, i.e. 5 kg ration.
Ration will be available through mobile OTP verification. Biometric verification through Aadhaar card is necessary to get ration. If Aadhaar verification is not possible for any reason, then ration will also be available through mobile OTP verification. The officer said that strict instructions have been given to all the fair price sellers of the district that as soon as the beneficiary is verified, the full ration should be given to him immediately.
This initiative of the government is giving great relief to the poor families, which is giving great relief to thousands of poor families of the district, which will give them some relief in this era of inflation. Needy beneficiaries are appealed to go to the ration center before the due date and get their free ration.
