Bank Holiday : After today, December 25th, banks will also be closed tomorrow, Friday, December 26th. Banks in Aizawl, Kohima, and Shillong will be closed due to the Christmas festival. Christmas is celebrated with great enthusiasm in these three cities, which is why local holidays have been announced. Branches of both public and private banks will be closed on this day. Banks will remain open in other states across the country.
Despite the bank closure, UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, and ATM services will operate as normal. Customers will be able to perform online transactions, bill payments, and ATM cash withdrawals. However, essential branch-related tasks will need to wait for the bank to reopen.

December 26 (Christmas Celebration)-Banking services will not be available in Aizawl, Kohima and Shillong.
27 December- Banks will remain closed only in Kohima.
30 December- (Death anniversary of Yu Kiang Nangbah) Banks will remain closed in Shillong.
December 31- (New Year’s Eve / Imoinu Iratpa)Banks will remain closed in Aizawl and Imphal.
