New Delhi: Gold mines have been discovered in some Indian states, and investigations are underway. India is known worldwide as the Golden Bird, where foreign invaders plundered vast reserves of gold. Shocking news has emerged from Rajasthan. For the third consecutive time, gold reserves have been discovered in the Banswara district, a region widely discussed.
Investigations by the Geological Survey of India have indicated the possibility of 12.20 tons of gold deposits within a three-kilometre area encompassing four villages in the Kankaria area of the district. In addition, indications of copper, cobalt, and other deposits have also been found. Following the GSI’s preliminary investigation, the government has decided to conduct an in-depth survey of the area. The central government has also invited applications from various private companies for this purpose.
How many years will the survey take to complete?
In-depth investigations will be conducted in Kankaria, Delwara, Ravan, Delwara, and Dugariapara in Banswara, Rajasthan. The survey is expected to be completed in approximately three years. Preliminary investigations by the GSI have indicated the presence of 1.20 tons of gold, along with 1,000 tons of copper and cobalt. Previously, the GSI had discovered 114.8 million tons of gold in the Bhukia and Jagpura areas of Banswara. Work on the site has not yet begun.
The estimated gold reserves in Banswara, Rajasthan, will make it the second state in the country to consistently produce gold. This will give Rajasthan a gold market share of over 25 per cent of the country. Currently, gold is being mined in Karnataka’s Hutti and Kolar Gold Fields.
This will increase employment opportunities
For your information, Banswara is located in the Aravati mountain range. The most significant feature here is the presence of geological rocks that are over 5,000 years old. Marble mining has also been taking place in Banswara. Now, with the discovery of gold reserves, employment opportunities in Banswara will increase significantly. This will not pose any problems. The economy will also get a boost.
